Setelah beberapa bulan Adam cs. merasa cocok. Gaya mainnya yang nge-rock dan powerfull dianggap pas dengan karakter Maroon 5.
Diperkuat Matt, Maroon 5 langsung tancap gas. Album yang sudah molor lama langsung digarap. Akhirnya tanggal 22 Mei kemarin album kedua, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long dirilis. Singel Makes Me Wonder ditunjuk jadi jagoan.
Lagu ciptaan Adam Levine dan Jesse Carmichael itu langsung melejit. Dirilis tanggal 29 Maret lalu Makes Me Wonder start dari posisi 64 chart Billboard. Dalam hitungan seminggu Makes Me Wonder ginkang ke posisi pertama. Lompatan ini dianggap paling fenomenal di chart Billboard dan bikin orang terwonder-wonder.
